Responsibilities:

Provide an enhanced level of software and connectivity phone and web based support to customer-facing field technicians and Canon resellers who are diagnosing problems. Troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions using technical expertise, by re-creating difficult problems in a lab environment and reference data contained in all Canon available resources. Log all call activity into the Call management system and share information in the knowledge base for both internal and external customers. Create “how to” videos to assist technicians in the troubleshooting process.

Qualifications:

Four years experience in the computer or networking environment, technical support, or quality assurance capacity.
3+ years demonstrated technical proficiency in troubleshooting Canon software and office equipment

The candidate shall provide support to the USAICoE G6 by providing specialized configuration management and quality control support. The candidate shall assist in the creation of configuration management tools and documentation, including not but limited to; configuration management plans, SOPs, Configuration Control Board (CCB) charters, agendas and version description documents (VDD) approved by USAICoE G6. The candidate shall comply with policies and regulations IAW ARIMS. The candidate shall provide configuration management and quality control services to include, but not limited to:

Provide technical configuration management and quality control support in documenting new USAICoE IT requirements. Prepare read-ahead agendas for CCB meeting attendees. Prepare and publish CCB meeting minutes within ten (10) calendar days for each CCB meeting.
Create, revise and update Contractor Configuration Management Plan (CMQAP), Standard Process Templates (SPTs), Documentation Control SOP, and Version Description Documents (VDDs) as changes occur. The contractor shall submit all work products to the USAICoE G6 for review and approval, before publishing.
Provide technical assistance to identify and document vulnerabilities and risks using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) system and a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).

This position serves as the technical lead for GDIT’s team (ASP.NET developers, database administrators, and software engineers) which is an integral part to providing new functionality and enhancements to a web-based application that supports training management for the U.S. Army.  Current focus is to stand-up a new Content Management System (CMS) to support the Army Training Network (ATN) using a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) ASP.NET product (Kentico CMS).  Position works closely with GDIT Task Order Manager, team, and Government stakeholders in research, design, development and/or modifications to enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.  Technical Lead will be expected to provide assistance to GDIT team in addressing identified issues to successful resolutions.
