An industry leading Security/Access Control/Life Safety company is in need of installation and service technicians in the Greater Houston area. Technicians with cross training in parallel installation (access control, voice data, fire alarm) are a plus. This is a great opportunity to contract to hire or direct hire with one of the largest commercial integration team of professionals in the Houston area. Candidates will install and or service security devices including but not limited to mag-locks, card readers, door strikes, exit push buttons, and IPTV surveillance cameras. Perform moves/adds/changes of security systems. Candidates who have experience programming devices and or leading crews is a plus but not required. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of installation background.
Interested candidates MUST have the following:
· 6 months to a year of experience installing security alarm, access control, or CCTV systems in commercial settings.
· Basic understanding of installation including reading blueprints, installing support structures, wiring devices including; motion detectors, mag-locks, door strikes, cameras, glass breaks, card readers, etc.
· Valid driver’s license (No exceptions!).
· Reliable transportation.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
· Basic hand tools.
