Successful Property Management Company seeks an experienced, professional, full time Maintenance Technician for a large Mobile Home Community located in Columbus, GA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mobile home repairs, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpet installation, preventive maintenance practices, common area maintenance and a strong background in HVAC.
~Respond to various service calls and assist refurb teams with repair and maintenance items.
~Demonstrate a working knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, carpet installation, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, and appliances.
~Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with residents, guests, visitors, staff and team members including members including presenting an appearance appropriate to the image of our company and the community.
~High School Diploma or Equivalent
~Minimum three (3) years full time experience with general maintenance in the property management industry
~Ability to handle all of the physical demands of the position, including ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs; ability to work on-call and extended hours (night and weekend work may be required at times)
~Strong attention to detail and basic proficiency of speaking, reading and writing the English Language
~Must possess valid drivers license and reliable transportation
~Ability to successfully pass a background screen including driver record, credit, criminal and maintain a record that satisfies these requirements. Please be advised that a drug screening will be conducted prior to employment.
~HVAC Certification is preferred
